About the artist: Maureen McAfee is an artist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work ranges across multi mediums including ceramics, gouache, ink, and digital. Maureen grew up all around Massachusetts, starting in Falmouth, Cape Cod during her early childhood years. She is still inspired by her love for coastal living, from the seashells and sea glass she would scavenge from the beach, to the sea creatures at the local Aquarium.
